Tsvetaeva's Moscow

Marina Tsvetaeva was definitely the most talented and successful of all Russian poetesses. She was born in Moscow and despite the fact that she has lived in other countries for a long time, Moscow was inspiring her more than any other cities did.

Perhaps there are no other poets who loved Moscow the way she did. Tsvetaeva wrote the first few lines devoted to the vanishing "houses of the old Moscow" in 1911. But in 1916 she wrote the whole series of poems about Moscow again, and every poem from this series is a masterpiece.

During the tour you will visit Trehprudny and Borisoglebsky lanes, Povarskaya st. and Arbat - all this places are inextricably connected to Tsvetaeva: she lived there and worked there. You will learn everything about her life and her poetry and you will discover other side of Moscow - Tsvetaeva's Moscow.
