Russian Compound is the unique distinctive historical and architectural complex, built by Russian architects in "pre-Petrine" style in Moscow, located on-site craft workshops of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Izmailovo.

When you're there, you can easily imagine how people lived and worked in Russia century ago and more, to walk in their shoes. Here are the most famous and popular crafts and educational tours are conducted that introduce guests to the history, traditions, culture and crafts of the Russian people. It also hosts concerts and festivals, costume shows, and special events on holidays (March 8, 23rd February, Carnival, New Year, Christmas, etc.). There are competitions and contests for children, children's theme parties, workshops of artists and handicraft (clay modeling, carving, painting, blacksmithing, etc.).
