Arbat Street Tour

The oldest remaining street in Moscow, being only one kilometer long, Arbat street is a symbol of the city. The street exists since 15 century and in those days it was a part of a trade route. Since then Arbat changed it's appearance several times because of the fire, revolutions and it's inhabitants. There are two memorable statues in the street: one depicts Princess Turandot in front of the Vakhtangov Theatre and the second is devoted to a great Soviet-era folk singer and poet, Bulat Okudzhava, who has dedicated his songs to the Arbat.
